Worst ever experience renting from a private company. I have rented flats in both Spain, Sweden and Denmark. Never have I had such terrible experience than renting with DEAS in Denmark.

From their terrible service and repairs that never happen despite endless email conversations, to consumption bills that arrive more than a year late and they’re not even right.

Not to mention the outrageous deposits and how shamelessly they keep pretty much as much as they want for “painting amd cleaning” despite leaving the flat in a very decent condition.

I would never recommend them nor rent from them again. Hope this review saves someone from all the trouble I went through.

NEVER RENT AN APARTMENT WHEN DEAS IS ADMINISTRATOR.

On 2nd of June I reported a blockage in the drain for my kitchen. I live on the ground floor and water from the kitchens above me flowed backwards and up in my kitchen sink.
DEAS is responsible for administration of the rental apartment buildings at Frederikskaj 2, Copenhagen SW for the owner PFA where I live.
I contacted DEAS, in fact, twice in the first week of June. On the 10th of June the water flowed back and flowed out over my sink and the floor of my apartment.

DEAS had been contacted and ignored problem. Their negligence led to my apartment and my ownings being damaged.

I reported the flooding of my kitchen to an emergency service under contract to DEAS for times outside the normal business hours. This firm sent a plumber and cleaner. The plumber confirmed a blockage in the building's drainage pipe. This was outside my apartment pipes. The cause of the flooding was NOT me. It was a general problem for the building. The cleaner confirmed that the flooding was waste water with bacteria, molds, rotting food waste and possibly water from the sewers including feces and urine.
It is now almost two months after the flooding caused by DEAS ignoring my report.
In the first few weeks I had a dehumidifier running for a week, followed by a examination of the wooden floor. The floor was wet and would rot. So next my floor in the area of the flood was torn up. The floor boards of my kitchen cabinets were also wet and would rot also. They were also torn out. Again a dehumidifier was installed to dry the wet concrete under the wooden floor. After that week the floor was tested and was dry enough to be categorised as normal.

That was the status in the first week of July.

AND IT IS THE SAME ON MONTH LATER. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. I LIVED WITH A STINKING APARTMENT CAUSED BY DEAS INCOMPETENCE. I SLEPT BADLY BECAUSE OF EXTREMELY NOISY DEHUMIDIFIERS FOR 2 WEEKS.

AND DEAS HAS DONE NOTHING TO REPAIR MY FLOOR.

Here on the 4th of August still nothing has been done. Another week gone by with no mails or messsges from DEAS. I have had enough. I called DEAS today and said that I was tired of the incompetence and laziness of them as administrators. I warned them that I would write public reviews of them. And I would advised other renters to avoid all apartments where they are administrators.
